About Lisa Lloyd

Originally hailing from North Carolina, this real estate professional has deep roots in the state, with family ties that stretch back generations. Growing up, summers were spent in Sanford with grandparents, instilling a strong sense of belonging to the region. After graduating from the Kent School in Connecticut, she embarked on a 15-year career as a flight attendant with TWA, during which she married and welcomed two children, Kate and Alex.

Following a challenging divorce and a battle with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, she underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant in 2004, generously provided by her brother. Once she regained her strength, she relocated with her children and pets to a home just five minutes from the beach in North Carolina, where she believes the coastal lifestyle has contributed to her well-being.

A chance encounter at a Super Bowl party led her to a successful realtor who introduced her to the world of real estate. She began working as an assistant while attending real estate school in the evenings, quickly discovering her passion for the field. In 2014, she joined BlueCoast Realty, where she found a supportive and professional environment that resonated with her values. The team’s commitment to excellence in a relaxed atmosphere has made her feel at home.

With both children now college graduates and proud military veterans, she enjoys a fulfilling personal life. In her leisure time, she embraces the coastal lifestyle, attends ECU football games, and actively participates in charitable organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, Be The Match, and veteran support initiatives. Residing in Wilmington with her two dogs, Paisley, a Wire-Haired Dachshund, and Sadie, a rescue Treeing Walker Coonhound, she continues to thrive in both her professional and personal endeavors.
