About Liz McGuire

With a deep commitment to serving the real estate needs of the greater East Mountain area in Albuquerque, this agent brings a wealth of experience and local knowledge to her clients. Originally from Minnesota, Michigan, and Delaware, she has always appreciated the distinct four seasons that the East Mountain region offers. In 1981, she and her husband relocated to the area, where they owned a pharmacy in Cedar Crest until 1984.

Transitioning into real estate in 1984, she formed a partnership with another local realtor in 1987. Following her partner's departure, she successfully managed the agency until 1995, when Peter Parnegg, the owner of Coldwell Banker Legacy, acquired her agency while retaining her as an agent and limited partner.

Having raised their daughter in the East Mountain area, she values the community's small-town charm, vibrant arts scene, and excellent dining options. Her dedication to the community is evident through her active participation in local church activities and various community initiatives.

In her leisure time, she enjoys playing tennis, jazz piano, bridge, and the mandolin. Her academic background in mathematics, obtained at a local college in Albuquerque, has honed her problem-solving skills, which she effectively applies in her real estate practice.

Throughout her career, she has received numerous accolades, including Rookie of the Year in 1984, a nomination for Realtor of the Year in 1994, and recognition as a Top Producer with Coldwell Banker Legacy since 1995. She is a proud member of the Presidents Circle, a national realtor award, and has also received Coldwell Banker Customer Service Awards. Most recently, she was honored with membership in the President's Club.
