About Lorraine Silverman

Lorraine Silverman has called the Asheville area home since 1993, having relocated from Atlanta, drawn by the region's stunning mountain landscapes and reduced traffic. Her professional journey began at AT&T in Atlanta, where she dedicated several years to cultivating relationships with business clients across the Southeast. Lorraine holds an MBA from Georgia State University, but her undergraduate roots are firmly planted at the University of Georgia, where her loyalty lies with the Bulldogs.

Upon moving to Asheville, Lorraine spent 19 years teaching at AB Tech Community College, earning recognition as the Outstanding Adjunct Instructor in 2003. Additionally, she has participated in fundraising efforts for the Alzheimer's Walk in Asheville. Lorraine enjoys traveling with her family and embraces opportunities to explore diverse cultures, often communicating in Spanish and Italian.
