She is the author of "Key West Writers & Their Houses" and has served as the first Executive Director of the esteemed Key West Literary Seminar. A dedicated mentor, Lynn is actively involved with the Take Stock in Children program at Key West High School. She also holds the position of President of the annual Key West Literary Seminar and is a board member for both the Monroe County Education Foundation and The Studios of Key West.

Lynn's personal life is equally vibrant; she is married to novelist David Kaufelt and is the mother of filmmaker Jackson Kaufelt. Her deep-rooted passion for Key West—its properties, its architecture, and its people—fuels her commitment to the community.
