Their journey began in middle school, blossoming into a relationship during high school. Although they attended different colleges in Virginia, their paths converged again after graduation. Kendall earned her Bachelor's degree in Business from the University of Mary Washington and later obtained her MBA from Liberty University. Since joining David and Lisa's Beach Rentals in 2017, she has significantly expanded their rental management portfolio, now overseeing over 30 short-term vacation properties while also guiding buyers in their home search.

Meanwhile, her husband graduated from Virginia Tech with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began his career at NSWC PCD, fulfilling a scholarship obligation.
