Mark Lavin is a distinguished Broker and REALTOR® specializing in the Asheville and Boone/Blowing Rock areas.

A graduate of Appalachian State University in 1991, Mark earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Management. Following his studies, he spent nine years as the General Manager of an upscale hotel, where he refined his skills in customer service and event project management.

In 1997, Mark expanded his expertise by becoming a Licensed General Contractor. This experience allowed him to build and remodel numerous homes, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the homebuilding process. His firsthand knowledge of construction stages has proven invaluable in advising clients on both new builds and resale properties.

Mark transitioned into real estate in 2002 when he became a Licensed NC Real Estate Broker. He has since leveraged his diverse skill set to effectively support a growing clientele of buyers and sellers.

Residing in the Montford Historic District of Central Asheville with his husband, Scott, Mark also maintains a part-time residence in the Boone/Blowing Rock area. He is an active member of both local MLS systems, allowing him to serve clients across both regions.
