Mark Lyda is a seasoned Civil (Structural) Engineer with over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial construction. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed manufacturer sales teams across various regions in the United States. His passion for real estate drives him to leverage his expertise and professionalism to assist clients in realizing their dreams of living in paradise.

An active member of the Sarasota-Manatee Board of REALTORS®, Mark holds an MBA in General Business Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, both from Youngstown State University in Ohio.

Mark and his wife, Kathleen, have fully embraced the Sarasota lifestyle while raising their five young children. Their family is deeply involved in local activities, including school events, swim team, tennis, water sports, and music. An accomplished pianist and vocalist, Mark contributes to the music ministry at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Osprey. After spending a decade as part-time residents of Venice, Florida, the Lyda family made Sarasota their permanent home in 2016 and are delighted to call it paradise. Over the years, Mark has engaged in various real estate transactions, including new home construction, vacation properties, rental investments, and even owning and operating a historic bed-and-breakfast in Poland, Ohio.

Originally from Krakow, Poland, Mark is fluent in Polish and actively participates in the vibrant Polish community in Sarasota and its surroundings.
