About Mark Gajda

Born and raised in Queens, New York, Mark relocated to Titusville, Florida, when his father pursued a career with NASA. After completing high school, he moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Journalism with a minor in Business, followed by a Master of Arts in Mass Communications, specializing in Public Relations.

Upon graduation, Mark began his professional journey in Orlando as the Internet Marketing Manager for US Airways Vacations. Although he appreciated his role and the vibrant Orlando area, his deep-rooted affection for North Florida and the Gainesville community ultimately drew him back. He joined the University of Florida Athletic Association, where he dedicated 16 years to various positions, culminating in the oversight of ticket sales and operations for athletic events. His tenure at the UAA honed his customer service skills and instilled a strong sense of integrity and passion for his work.

The birth of his daughter prompted Mark to reevaluate his career path, leading him to pursue his long-standing interest in real estate. With a background in customer service, marketing, and sales, he recognized the potential to merge these experiences into a fulfilling career in real estate. His commitment to providing exceptional service is evident in his daily work at Pepine Realty.

Mark shares his life with his wife, Lauren, who serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Pediatrics at UF Health, and their energetic daughter, Allie. Together, they enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, and supporting their favorite sports teams. He is actively involved in the community, having served as a Board Member and Chairman for the North Central Florida American Red Cross, as well as contributing to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. An avid runner, he has completed ten marathons and enjoys outdoor activities.
