Mark Hughes has established himself as a leading figure in the real estate industry, having achieved recognition as one of the top 1% of agents globally and being inducted into the RE/MAX Hall of Fame. In his forties, he directed two of the largest brokerages on the West Coast and played a pivotal role in a successful startup that culminated in a sale.

Previously, Mark served as an affiliate owner and managing broker for Sotheby’s International Realty. He held the position of President at Windermere Real Estate Services, where he was responsible for overseeing operations and spearheading growth initiatives across Southern California. Before that, he was the Chief Operating Officer at First Team Real Estate, the largest independent real estate firm in California. Mark also led the growth of Nook Real Estate, a Newport Beach startup, until its acquisition by Compass in 2020.

Currently, Mark oversees offices and agents along the coastal corridor of Long Beach and Seal Beach for Seven Gables Real Estate, a well-regarded local firm.

With over thirty years of experience, Mark has built a robust portfolio in real estate sales and marketing, consistently delivering multi-million dollar results. He is the author of the acclaimed book and workshop series, "Branded Agent."

In addition to his real estate expertise, Mark is a sought-after speaker and media personality, having previously hosted HGTV's National Open House. He excels in sales strategy, with a strong grasp of branding and marketing techniques that effectively engage buyers and enhance sales velocity. His analytical skills and industry insights enable him to craft and implement tactical plans that drive exceptional performance and elevate customer engagement.

Mark is recognized as an industry innovator and maintains a prominent voice in real estate. He holds multiple state broker licenses and earned his BA from the University of Virginia. Outside of his professional endeavors, he is a devoted father to Dean and Katherine, both of whom work in Los Angeles, and a grateful husband to Judy Hughes, with whom he has shared 28 years of marriage.
