About Martha Adger

Martha Adger is a distinguished marketing professional with over three decades of expertise in the high-end real estate sector. After earning her degree from the University of Texas, she quickly established herself in Houston's competitive market, achieving remarkable success that placed her second among a team of 50 real estate agents.

Her early accomplishments drew the attention of a prestigious international real estate firm based in New York, which opened a Houston office in 1979. In her role as Director of Real Estate Referral Services, Martha oversaw a team of 300 brokers and support staff, facilitating seamless relocations for both national and international clients. Under her leadership, the firm's referral client base expanded from zero to 1,000, and the number of brokers grew from 15 to 300 worldwide. Following this, she transitioned to the Houston affiliate as Vice President of Public Relations, where she managed all media relations and served as the primary liaison for international brokers.

Martha's career trajectory continued to rise as she became Vice President and Regional Manager for the Southwest Division of the firm. In this capacity, she directed all marketing initiatives across Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, and Colorado, successfully increasing regional listings from 2 to 30 within just 18 months.

In 1988, Martha shifted her focus to a new luxury gated community, Stablewood, where she served as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was instrumental in guiding transactions from inception to closing, and as the community matured, she transitioned to an independent Realtor, specializing in listings and sales within Stablewood.

Currently, as a member of Martha Turner Properties' Circle of Excellence, Martha Adger continues to excel in selling properties not only in Stablewood but throughout Houston's prestigious neighborhoods. Her deep understanding of sophisticated marketing strategies, high-end construction, and strong relationships with premier home builders make her an invaluable resource for her clients.

Major Harris County, Texas Real Estate Markets

Houston's inner loop commands premium pricing with its mix of luxury condominiums, historic neighborhoods like River Oaks and Montrose, and rapidly gentrifying areas such as EaDo and the Heights. The Energy Corridor and Galleria districts attract corporate relocations and international buyers, while master-planned communities in Katy, Sugar Land, and The Woodlands offer family-oriented suburban living with top-rated schools and extensive amenities.

Emerging markets in Cypress, Tomball, and Pearland showcase some of the county's fastest appreciation rates, driven by new construction and infrastructure improvements. Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Harris County's 1,703 square miles present unique challenges that require deep local expertise, from flood plain considerations following Hurricane Harvey to understanding the nuances of MUD districts and property tax implications. The market operates across multiple price points simultaneously—luxury estates in Memorial can exceed $10 million while first-time buyer opportunities exist in areas like Aldine and Humble.

Energy sector fluctuations create cyclical patterns that savvy agents leverage for timing strategies, while the county's increasing diversification into technology, aerospace, and healthcare provides market stability.
