Having grown up in a real estate environment as the daughter of a local broker, MaryElizabeth has been immersed in the Sarasota real estate scene since the early 1980s. Her early experiences included attending closings and showings, often on her way to ballet classes. In her teenage years, she began assisting with various real estate tasks. After a successful career in ballet and over a decade as the President and Artistic/Executive Director of the Florida Ballet Arts Academy and Ensemble, the region's longest-standing dance organization, she transitioned into real estate in 2013.

MaryElizabeth's life experiences extend beyond Sarasota. She has lived in various regions across the United States, including Southern California, North Carolina, New England, and the Washington DC Metro Area. As the daughter of a career Marine Corps officer, she spent 23 years as a military dependent, residing on three Marine Corps bases and traveling extensively during her ballet career as a dancer, choreographer, and audition coordinator.

At 24, with a newborn in tow, she undertook the challenge of revitalizing a 40-year-old business that had faltered. After the previous owner abandoned Florida Ballet Arts, she successfully restructured and expanded the business by 835%, primarily through word-of-mouth referrals over the next decade.

MaryElizabeth embraces challenges; from 2008 to 2009, she managed a bi-coastal lifestyle while running her dance academy and performing company in Sarasota. During this time, she also served as Ballet Master for San Diego Ballet and UNITY Dance Ensemble, completing 15 roundtrip commutes between Sarasota and San Diego within a year. Additionally, she trained fitness patrons at Semper Fit aboard Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego.
