About Matthew Kochis

In 2006, this East Valley, Arizona resident transitioned from a five-year career as a teacher and football coach to real estate, driven by the desire to achieve a sustainable middle-class lifestyle for his growing family. Faced with the challenges of supporting a family on a teacher's salary and reflecting on a less-than-satisfactory experience with his own realtor during his first home purchase, he decided to pursue a career in real estate.

With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Marketing, he recognized that real estate offered a unique opportunity to continue his passion for helping others. He found that the skills he honed in education and coaching—such as communication, guidance, and support—were directly applicable to assisting clients in their journey to homeownership. His goal is to make the buying and selling process enjoyable and engaging for his clients.

After a decade of working part-time as an agent, he made the decision to leave teaching and fully commit to his real estate career, ensuring he could provide the dedicated service his clients deserve. Despite this transition, he remains active in coaching, reflecting his enduring commitment to mentorship and community involvement.
