Matthew Thomas, a Florida native, relocated to Gainesville in 2005 to embark on a real estate career alongside his father, John Thomas. Shortly after his arrival, he met Tiffany, and they were married the following year.

Together, Matt and Tiffany have dedicated themselves to helping families find their homes in Gainesville. Since 2005, they have consistently ranked in the top 1 percent of Realtors in the county, serving over 1,000 clients and achieving sales exceeding $200 million.

In January 2012, recognizing a gap in the market for a boutique real estate firm, Matt and Tiffany founded Thomas Group Realty. As Broker-Owners, they transformed the company into a family-oriented business, welcoming John Thomas, as well as Tiffany’s mother and brother, Lore and Eric Davis, into the fold. Their professional family has grown alongside their personal one, which now includes four children.

Since its inception, Thomas Group Realty has thrived under Matt and Tiffany’s leadership, attracting top-tier Realtors. The firm, now operating as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Thomas Group, has expanded to include 60 Realtors and remains a locally owned and operated business, consistently ranked among the top five real estate offices in Alachua County.
