About Matthew Lutz

Matt Lutz relocated to the Swannanoa Valley at the age of 13, where he quickly developed a deep appreciation for the area's natural beauty. His fondness for the region was nurtured during his time at Owen Middle and Owen High Schools. After pursuing higher education in Wilmington, North Carolina, he embarked on a career as a professional actor and singer, performing in film and television in Los Angeles, as well as on and off-Broadway in New York City.

Despite his diverse experiences, Matt always felt a pull to return to his mountain roots, a dream he fulfilled in 2016. Currently, he dedicates his free time as the artistic director of the Front Porch Theatre at the Black Mountain Center for the Arts. With a longstanding passion for homes, real estate, and land, Matt is excited to collaborate with Greybeard Realty to help clients discover their own special place in the mountains—a retreat that families will cherish for generations.
