About Mel George

Mel relocated to Portland in 1998 with minimal belongings and a strong determination to succeed. She pursued her education at Portland State University, earning a double major in Communications and Spanish. Throughout her journey, Mel dedicated countless hours to community service, notably with the Portland Habitat for Humanity’s Women Build program and the Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors® (PMAR), where she gained invaluable skills while contributing to meaningful causes.

With a robust foundation in financing, construction systems, and home renovations, Mel became a Realtor® in 2006. Since then, she has taken on leadership roles and participated in various committees within both the local PMAR and the Oregon Realtors® at the state level.
