About Melissa Bowman

My childhood was spent 40 miles down-river in Chesapeake Ohio In the early 1980’s I moved to Gallipolis and now consider it my hometown My father was a real estate agent and instructor so I guess you could say the business is “in my blood ”
I pursued a career in nursing and as a graduate of Marshall University I was employed full-time as an RN at Pleasant Valley Hospital in Point Pleasant West Virginia But after nearly 30 years I found myself bored in retirement Many hours of watching HGTV caused me to realize that I should try my hand at real estate I attended Hondros College to obtain my license
After joining the team at Wiseman Real Estate I soon discovered that the profession is nothing like the TV version (LOL) But while very challenging it is also very rewarding Skills used in nursing such as communication and attention to detail are put to good use in the business of real estate I thoroughly enjoy meeting and interacting with people as well as the pursuit of a deal that brings my clients to the closing table
My husband Dan also works at Wiseman We have three children and four grandchildren all of whom reside in Gallipolis Much of my free time is spent with them
