Melissa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Business from the University of Arizona, graduating Cum Laude in 2005. Her commitment to hard work is evident, as she balanced two jobs while completing her degree. The University of Arizona holds sentimental value for her, as it is where she married her college sweetheart in 2006, an alumnus of the Icecats Hockey team, and together they are raising two wonderful daughters.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Melissa is actively involved in her community. She enjoys attending her local church, spending quality time at the beach with her family, and engaging in various hobbies such as sewing, crafting, gardening, and baking. She leads her daughter’s Girl Scout troop and volunteers at her child’s school, serving on the board as Vice President of Membership and Donations. Committed to instilling the values of service and philanthropy in her children, she supports organizations such as Operation Blessing, Orphan’s Promise, and Samaritan’s Purse.
