Prior to dedicating himself to real estate, Meyer enjoyed a successful rugby career that spanned over a decade, beginning at the age of 18 with his first professional contract. His journey took him around the globe, including a notable five-year tenure in Treviso, Italy, where he played for a club affiliated with the renowned fashion brand, United Colors of Benetton.

Fluent in both Afrikaans and English, Meyer also speaks Italian, a skill he developed during his time in Italy. His passion for travel and languages has significantly enhanced his approach to international real estate sales.

Transitioning into real estate after his athletic career, Meyer quickly established himself as a formidable agent. He was honored with the “New Agent of the Year” award in his first year, achieving record sales in Cape Town. Leveraging his competitive spirit from sports, he ascended to the role of Sales Manager at one of the largest brokerages in the region.

In 2018, Meyer took a significant step by founding his own boutique brokerage in the heart of Cape Town, which continues to thrive and is recognized for some of the city's highest sales.

Meyer’s personal life flourished as well when he met his wife, Kiersten, an American expatriate and creator of the acclaimed travel blog, The Blonde Abroad. Their shared passion for travel has allowed them to explore remarkable destinations worldwide, further broadening his client base and professional network.

Now residing in the coastal neighborhood of Point Loma, San Diego, Meyer lives with Kiersten and their beloved doodle, Bailey. He serves clients throughout San Diego County and takes pride in his ability to meet their needs on both national and international levels.
