Michael Douglas, a native of Ann Arbor, Michigan, cultivated a strong foundation in urban planning and geography at Wayne State University in Detroit. Following his graduation, he relocated to Colorado, where he immersed himself in the snow sports industry as an adult ski and snowboard instructor at Breckenridge Ski Resort. Over the course of a decade, he dedicated himself to fostering the skills of both novice and experienced skiers and snowboarders, earning recognition as a committed educator and leader in the field.

In the fall of 2019, Michael embarked on a new journey in Florida, initially continuing his career in customer service as a server and bartender.
