Mike hails from Flint, Michigan, and relocated to North Carolina, where he excelled academically and athletically at Whiteville High School. He served as captain of both the football and baseball teams, contributing to the 1998 state championship basketball team and the 1999 state runner-up baseball team. Pursuing his passion for football, Mike attended Appalachian State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems in 2003.

At just 24, Mike showcased his entrepreneurial spirit by establishing a business in Myrtle Beach in 2004. He transitioned into real estate in 2011, and by his second year, he had already achieved multi-million dollar producer status, demonstrating his ability to assist clients in achieving their real estate objectives.

Mike's unwavering values, strong work ethic, and acumen in real estate are deeply rooted in his Christian faith and his family's legacy. His father is a retired sports editor, while his mother held an executive position at Estée Lauder. Additionally, his stepmother is a corporate controller, and his stepfather served as a retired Navy officer. His late grandmother was a successful real estate agent with Century 21 in both Michigan and North Carolina.
