Born and raised in Silverton I worked in the family vineyard and winery business until 1991 After graduating from Silverton Union High School in 1990 I attended Chemeketa Community College for 2 years studying real estate and other various classes A graduate of the Norm Webb Real Estate School I have been licensed for 20 years and a member of Silverton’s Leading Real Estate Team In 2003 I completed additional education in real estate and earned my GRI designation In 2009 I completed specific education and earned the NAR’s Green Designation In 2017 I completed additional education passed my state and national tests to earn my Principal Brokers license I’m a member of the National Association of Realtors the Oregon Association of Realtors the Green Resource Council the Northwest Association of Realtors Portland Multiple Listing Service and the Willamette Valley Multiple Listing Service
Over the past 30 years while working in Silverton and the surrounding areas I have met and worked with several of the local builders I am also a licensed and bonded General Contractor specializing in residential remodels and new construction In 2010 I became a Certified Renovator to comply with the new EPA’s RR&P Rule I have made several real estate investments in Silverton and have a commitment to the community as well as an interest in the policies of the local government I feel my experience in real estate and construction along with my relationship with local builders other Realtors and City Staff compliment my knowledge of the area to provide top quality service
Married in 1998 Leslie and I have renovated three older homes in Silverton Our most current projects are Sage age 17 and Gavin age 13 We enjoy trips to Devils Lake on the coast Central Oregon and Klamath County
