Michael Labout has been a licensed residential REALTOR® in Colorado Springs since 1982 and has been a distinguished member of ERA Shields Real Estate since 1986. Currently serving as the Branch Broker for the North Main office, he actively engages with both buyers and sellers on a daily basis.

A strong advocate for his profession, Michael has dedicated significant time to various leadership roles within the real estate community. He has held positions such as Director and President/Chairman of the Board for the Pikes Peak Association of REALTORS®, the largest local association in Colorado. Additionally, he served as a Director, Vice-President, and Treasurer for the Colorado Association of REALTORS®, where he was President in 2006, representing over 27,500 members. His contributions extend to the National Association of REALTORS®, where he has been part of the Leadership Team and Board of Directors, graduated from NAR's Leadership Academy in 2009, and served as Regional Vice-President for Region XI in 2012. In 2014, he was inducted into the RPAC Hall of Fame and held the position of NAR Vice President in 2016.

Michael holds several prestigious designations, including CIPS, CMIS, CMMS, CRS, CSP, e-PRO, and GRI, and has earned the Commitment to Excellence (C2EX) endorsement from NAR. His expertise and influence in the industry have been recognized by the Colorado Springs Business Journal, which named him one of the Top 25 Most Influential People in Colorado Springs Real Estate, and by Broker Associate Magazine, which featured him as Broker of the Month. In addition to his extensive real estate experience, Michael has served as a Marketing Director for various production and custom builders, specializing in new construction. He has been married to his wife, Laurie, for over 30 years, and together they sponsor cadets from the United States Air Force Academy, forming lasting connections with graduates who serve around the globe.
