Her diverse background in real estate includes selling residential, commercial, and agricultural properties, as well as airport hangars. Alongside her husband, she also enjoyed renovating and flipping homes, which honed her people skills and reinforced her belief in the importance of integrity and personal connections.

In 2003, she relocated to Colorado's front range, where she successfully managed a real estate office as a broker and collaborated with a home builder to help clients realize their dream homes. The family’s love for the ocean and outdoor living led them to Florida in 2006, where they established a pressure cleaning business that thrived until its sale in January 2013.

After the sale, she felt a strong pull back to real estate. Embracing a new adventure, the family chose to live aboard a 52-foot motor yacht in a marina, fully immersing themselves in the "water life" while searching for their next home.
