About Michelle Garner

Michelle and Clay of the Garner Group exemplify the allure of the Yampa Valley, a place that, according to local lore, captures the hearts of all who visit. This phenomenon, often referred to as the "Yampa Valley Curse," certainly resonated with them.

Clay first experienced this enchantment in 1991 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Marketing. He initially intended to spend a couple of seasons exploring the ski resorts of the Northern Rockies. However, upon arriving in Steamboat Springs, he recognized that he had found his true home and decided to settle down.

In 2006, Michelle was brought to Steamboat for a multi-family real estate development project. As a sales and marketing executive for a development firm, she oversaw the project from its inception to its successful sales phase. It wasn't long before the charm of the Yampa Valley and Clay’s charisma drew her in as well. Shortly thereafter, they married and established the Garner Team, which eventually evolved into The Garner Group at eXp Realty Steamboat Springs.

The Garner Group is a dynamic real estate agency that prioritizes the growth of its team members while offering a wealth of expertise. With over 20 years of experience in the real estate sector, the group has a robust background in new developments, pricing strategies, residential interior customization, and real estate contract management.
