Monica Hsu has been a dedicated resident of the San Gabriel Valley for 25 years, currently residing in Pasadena with her husband, two children, and their golden retriever, Max. Over the years, she has cultivated strong community connections through her professional and social engagements.

Before joining Podley Properties as a broker associate, Monica served as Vice President at Unipac Shipping Inc., an international logistics firm with significant interests in both China and the United States. In this role, she honed her skills in contract negotiation and utilized technology and data to create customized services for diverse business clients. Her two-decade career involved extensive travel to China, where she collaborated closely with manufacturers and international partners, establishing a robust network of contacts. Monica's expertise in international trade has enabled her to forge enduring relationships both locally and abroad. Her proficiency in Mandarin, combined with her deep understanding of Asian cultural values and work ethics, has consistently yielded positive outcomes in her professional endeavors. Her strength as a listener has been instrumental in fostering successful collaborations.

In addition to her professional commitments, Monica is actively engaged in her community. For the past four years, she has organized recitals and performances that showcase young musical talent in Pasadena. This initiative aims to nurture children's interest in music throughout the year while boosting their confidence. Many of these young musicians have gone on to join the Pasadena Youth Symphony Orchestra, gaining opportunities to perform in Europe.

Originally from Taiwan, Monica moved to the United States and earned a bachelor's degree in business from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
