Natalie Rivera's journey began in a maritime family, where a deep connection to the water shaped her early years. After graduating from Texas A&M in 2001, she dedicated over 15 years to navigating commercial vessels across the globe. Rising to the esteemed position of Master-Unlimited Captain, she later focused on training and mentoring marine crews as a vessel compliance auditor, while also developing competency assessment systems.

To balance her seafaring life, Natalie engaged in real estate during her time on land. She led several extensive remodeling projects, leveraging her engineering and mechanical expertise from maritime accommodations to enhance residential properties.

What began as a hobby evolved into a fulfilling career. In 2009, after meeting her husband during a serendipitous trip to Santa Fe, she chose to settle in the high desert with him and their two dogs. She obtained her New Mexico Real Estate Broker License and initially joined Sotheby’s, later becoming a valued member of the Barker Realty family in 2015.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Natalie is fluent in Spanish and actively supports various local charities. She enjoys cooking for friends and embraces the outdoors.
