About Neftali Cortez

Neftali “Nef” Cortez has dedicated over 45 years to the real estate and financing sectors, having first obtained his real estate license in 1976 and becoming a licensed broker in 1984. His extensive experience transcends mere transactions; he recognizes that each property represents a backdrop for the creation of lasting memories.

Mr. Cortez began his career at Red Carpet in Santa Fe Springs, California, before joining the International Real Estate Network in Norwalk in 1978, where he earned his Real Estate Salesman License. This foundational experience solidified his commitment to a long-term career in real estate. From 1980 to 1997, he served as Partner and Broker at Realty World Action, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s offerings to include escrow, mortgage, insurance, and termite services.

Subsequently, Mr. Cortez worked with Realty World Prudential California Realty and Century 21 Masters in Walnut, California, before joining RE/MAX Universal Realty, formerly RE/MAX Realty 100, in Diamond Bar in 2007 as an Associate Broker and Realtor. His expertise includes managing and selling foreclosed properties for major financial institutions such as Wells Fargo, Bank of America, and Chase Bank, representing these banks across Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino, and Riverside Counties.

In addition to his real estate endeavors, Mr. Cortez actively engages with his community. He serves on the board of the YMCA, is a member of the Youth and Family Club of Pomona Valley, and participates in the Pomona Chamber of Commerce, among other organizations.
