A long-time resident of the area, Orlean has deep roots in Oxnard, having moved there with her family in 1971 due to a military assignment. Her parents purchased a home in Lemonwood, where her mother resided until recently.

Orlean's educational journey began in local schools, including Harrington Elementary, Elm Elementary, and Haydock Junior High, culminating in her graduation from Channel Islands High School in 1978. She furthered her education at Ventura Community College and Oxnard Community College before transferring to California State University, Northridge.

Throughout her formative years, Orlean gained valuable work experience in various roles, from delivering TV Guides and mowing lawns to working as a janitor and bagger at the Port Hueneme Naval Base Commissary.

In 1981, Orlean enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving for five years before transitioning to the California Air National Guard. Her military career spanned over three decades, during which she served with the 146th Airlift Wing and the 129th Rescue Wing, completing her service in September 2016. Throughout her tenure, she was activated for numerous deployments, particularly following the events of September 11, 2001, and concluded her career as an officer.

In 1997, Orlean purchased her own townhome in Port Hueneme, utilizing a VA loan, further solidifying her connection to the community.

Outside of real estate, Orlean enjoys a variety of hobbies, including cycling, surfing, skiing, and hiking. She also finds joy in reading, cooking, and socializing.

With over 33 years of military service and a finance degree from California State University, Northridge, Orlean is excited to return to her passion for real estate. Her prior experience as a budding real estate investor in the late 1980s, coupled with her extensive knowledge of Oxnard and Port Hueneme, positions her uniquely to assist clients in navigating the local market.
