About Owen Heine

Owen, originally from Alexandria, Virginia, transitioned to the Shenandoah Valley in 2000 as part of his law enforcement career. During this time, he formed a meaningful friendship with Dora Buck, an experienced real estate broker, which sparked his interest in the real estate sector. In 2005, Owen began his part-time real estate journey at Sager Real Estate, collaborating closely with Dora.

His extensive background in law enforcement, which began in 1997, and his role as a Game Warden have equipped him with a profound understanding of the region's landscape and natural resources. Owen's experience ranges from investigating wildlife offenses to conducting search and rescue missions, as well as engaging in community education and conservation initiatives. His familiarity with the local terrain—roads, mountains, parks, and waterways—positions him as an invaluable resource for clients.

Owen's commitment to serving the community has fostered strong relationships with local landowners and residents. His integrity, dedication to service, and strong moral character have cultivated a robust network of friends, neighbors, and community contacts.

Currently a full-time Conservation Police Officer, Owen’s passion for the environment and community service enhances his role within the Preslee Team. His in-depth knowledge of Shenandoah, Frederick, Clark, Warren, and Page counties makes him an exceptional asset for clients navigating the real estate market.

Residing in Woodstock with his fiancée, two children, and hound dog, Elvis, Owen enjoys spending his leisure time outdoors, raising goats and quail, and engaging in activities such as hiking, camping, and fishing.

With 18 years of experience in real estate, Owen has established himself as an expert in land and commercial properties, adept at handling transactions ranging from residential homes to multi-million-dollar commercial deals. Whether you are looking to buy or sell, or need assistance with investment opportunities, Owen is ready to help you achieve your real estate objectives.

These communities attract buyers seeking larger lots and rural settings, while Edinburgh and Toms Brook cater to those wanting authentic farm country living with potential for equestrian properties and agricultural investments.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Shenandoah County's real estate market operates on multiple levels, from working farms and rural retreats to established neighborhoods and commercial properties along the Interstate 81 corridor.
