Originally from the Netherlands, he was born in 1962 and earned a degree in Physical Education and Sports Management. In 1987, he relocated to the United States, where he served as a Youth Director for the YMCA in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Raleigh, North Carolina, until 1992. He obtained his real estate license in 1995 and became a broker for Referral Realty Group Inc. the following year, assuming the role of Broker-in-Charge in 1996.

His primary focus has been on the acquisition and sale of foreclosed properties, often at courthouse auctions. Over the years, he has successfully purchased more than 200 investment properties across various counties in North Carolina, including Wake, Durham, Orange, Franklin, Johnston, Harnett, Lee, Cumberland, Alamance, and Wayne.

In 2000, he transitioned to become an REO broker, facilitating the sale of over 2,000 properties for prominent lenders such as HSBC, Wells Fargo, Fannie Mae, Bank of America, Aurora Loan Services, Nationstar Mortgage, One West Bank, CoreLogic, Chase Mortgage, and Capital One. His achievements have been recognized by HSBC, which awarded him the “Leading the Way” honor in both March 2011 and March 2013.
