About Philip Hyre

Phil, a native of California, was raised in Willits by Deaf parents. At 17, he enlisted in the California Army National Guard, completing his boot camp training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. Over a decade, Phil served in the Army National Guard, gaining valuable skills and discipline.

At 19, he embarked on a career in freight hauling, which was cut short when his employer ceased operations. He then joined the City of Ukiah Landfill, where he worked for six months before transitioning to the Electrical Line Department. Starting as a ground man, Phil advanced through the ranks to become a Journeyman Lineman.

In 2007, Phil shifted his focus to entrepreneurship by launching Phil4Hyre Home Repair. He relocated his family to Salem in 2009, and that same year, he and his wife, Tara, established an Antique Mall in Independence, Oregon. In 2012, Phil obtained his license as an Oregon Real Estate Broker. Since joining Realty First, he has successfully guided numerous buyers and sellers, particularly in the realm of new construction. His varied life experiences have equipped him with a unique perspective, contributing to his effectiveness as a real estate professional.
