About Philip Bradley

Philip, a Charleston, South Carolina native, has deep roots in the Cashiers area, where he spent his childhood summers with family beginning in 1976. Over the past century, three generations of his family have created lasting memories in both Cashiers and Highlands.

After graduating from Clemson University, Philip acquired and renovated a historic cabin on Lake Glenville, transforming it into a personal retreat. His growing affection for this unique locale ultimately led him to establish Cashiers as his second home.

In 1997, Philip embarked on a career in insurance with Allstate Insurance Company, opening his agency in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. With over two decades of experience in the insurance sector, he brings valuable insights to the McKee Properties team. Additionally, he holds a securities license in South Carolina, enabling him to address his clients' financial needs comprehensively.

Philip obtained his South Carolina real estate license in 2002 and founded Brown Dog Realty LLC, a boutique real estate firm based in Charleston. Throughout his career, he has assisted numerous friends and family members in finding their ideal vacation homes, whether along the coast or in the mountains.

A dedicated advocate for historic preservation, Philip has actively participated in various charitable organizations, including a decade-long tenure with The Charles Towne Landing Foundation in Charleston. He is also a steadfast supporter of The Human Rights Campaign, Pet Helpers, and the Ryan White Foundation at Roper St. Francis. In his personal life, Philip and his partner, Drew English, share a passion for antiquing, Clemson football, gardening, and travel. While in the mountains, they enjoy hiking with their Boykin Spaniel, boating on Lake Glenville, and hosting gatherings for family and friends at their home.
