The picturesque streets, lined with distinctive early 20th-century Colonial Revival and Craftsman-style homes, left a lasting impression on him, igniting his journey into the real estate sector over a decade ago.

Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, Phillip pursued his dream of becoming a classical ballet dancer, which led him to the Richmond Ballet. Over a remarkable 16-year career, he performed in cities such as China, London, Chicago, Washington, D.C., and New York. While he embraced the challenges of his profession, it was his time in Virginia that profoundly shaped his perspective.

Understanding the physical limitations of a demanding dance career, Phillip sought alternative avenues for creativity and self-sufficiency during off-seasons. He engaged in various ventures, including building and renovating homes, establishing an online agency for guest ballet dancers, managing a fireworks store, and crafting custom concrete countertops. These diverse experiences enriched his knowledge of home design and real estate, while also fostering valuable relationships.

As he navigated the intersections of ballet, home renovation, and family life, Phillip ultimately decided to transition from dance. Following his retirement, he took on the role of lead property manager at Richmond Loft Company, where he obtained his real estate license. His involvement spanned multiple facets of the business, including development, marketing, leasing, maintenance, renovations, and property transactions.
