Phong is from Vietnam In 1975 he came to the United States with his family and grew up in a small town of Gilbert Northeastern Minnesota He moved to the Twin Cities and in 1988 he attended the University of Minnesota In 1993 Phong received his Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology After graduating Phong worked for several companies like 3M TSI Donaldson Company and Polar Semiconductor Prior to receiving his real estate license Phong worked for Donaldson Company for 9 years as a Test Engineer

Phong currently lives in Burnsville Minnesota He is married to wife Chau a podiatrist and they have 3 older boys While they both have full time jobs in Phong’s free time he likes to play tennis basketball and go to LA Fitness to work out Phong even have a basketball court in his back yard! Phong is active in the Vietnamese Community he can speak Vietnamese fluently and can communicate effectively Once a week Phong volunteers to be an assistant in helping teach little kids learn Vietnamese at the Buddhist Temple Phong also volunteers to help serve lunch once a month at his kid’s high school
