Ralph Hilliard has joined the Coldwell Banker Commercial Division, bringing with him more than 31 years of experience from the Planning and Development Services Department in Gainesville, Florida. For the past two decades, he has held the position of Planning Manager, where he served as an expert witness on various land use and zoning matters. His extensive expertise encompasses development permitting across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

Ralph played a pivotal role in the city’s transition to a more citizen-focused land development code, enhancing community engagement in planning processes. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi Valley State University and a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ralph has been married to his wife, Phyllis, for over 40 years, and they are proud parents of three daughters. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing the saxophone and attending antique car shows and auctions.
