Transitioning from a successful real estate agent to the owner and operator of Re/Max Del Oro has allowed Randy to carve out his niche in San Luis Obispo County. He is recognized for his outstanding reputation and a long list of satisfied clients. Randy first arrived in San Luis Obispo in 1976 to attend California Polytechnic State University. After graduating in 1980, he embarked on an extensive three-year journey around the globe, utilizing various modes of travel, including ships, planes, and even sailboats.

During his travels, he met his future wife, originally from Pacific Grove, California, while she was at a youth hostel in Dunedin, New Zealand. Their shared adventures continued for six months before they returned to San Luis Obispo in 1983. To enhance his career prospects, Randy enrolled in Cal Poly's MBA program. After earning his degree, he accepted a position with a CPA firm in San Francisco, but after just nine months, he returned to San Luis Obispo, feeling a strong pull to his hometown.

Randy then took on a role at the San Luis Bay Inn in Avila Beach, where he had previously worked in various capacities since 1976. The hotel's owners created the position of Resident Manager for him, and within six months, he advanced to General Manager of the five-star establishment. However, in 1990, following the sale of the hotel to a time-share company, he found himself seeking new opportunities.

With a new family on the horizon, Randy quickly obtained his real estate license and has since built a fulfilling career. He and his wife are proud parents of two sons, aged 12 and 14, and they are grateful for the decision to raise their family in this beautiful region. In September 2003, Randy acquired the Re/Max franchise for San Luis Obispo, solidifying his commitment to entrepreneurship. His firm, though small, is dynamic and focused on delivering exceptional service while prioritizing the best interests of clients. Randy welcomes the opportunity to earn your business.
