About Randolph Smith

A native of Sonoma County, this real estate professional brings a unique blend of diversity and extensive experience to the industry. With a background that includes roles as a truck driver, commercial fisherman, and biochemical geneticist, he possesses a multifaceted perspective on life and work. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, a Master’s in Desert Ecology, and a Ph.D. in Genetics and Fishery Biology from the University of California, Davis. In 1984, he relocated to Nevada County with his wife, Meg Black-Smith.

His childhood was shaped by summers spent at a family cabin in Cisco, near the Highway 20/80 interchange, where he developed a passion for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and fishing. When it came time for him and Meg to choose a place to settle, he knew exactly where they wanted to be. He continues to embrace his love for the outdoors with a seasonal ski pass at Northstar and enjoys fishing, hiking, and rock-hounding throughout the year. His consulting work on fishery projects spans Nevada County, the Southern Sierras, Canada, Mexico, and much of the western United States, and he even maintains his own trout stream. Additionally, he is an avid railroad enthusiast, owning an HO layout and appearing as a steam engineer in the Emmy-winning series "Celebrating North America's Steam Railways."

Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades both within and outside the real estate sector. His achievements include awards for garden design, furniture making, and woodworking. He previously co-owned the Nevada City Brewery, where he earned ribbons for his beer at the Nevada County Fair. His dedication to excellence has been recognized by Century 21 and the Nevada County Association of REALTORS®, which have honored him with Quality Service Awards, Masters Club Certificates of Achievement, and Outstanding Producer Awards.

His journey into real estate began unexpectedly when he sought a permit to remodel a miners' cabin in Nevada City, only to discover it was classified as vacant land. This experience, coupled with a lack of diligence from their real estate agent, inspired him to ensure that he would always go above and beyond for his clients.

Influenced by his grandfather, who instilled values of integrity, hard work, and kindness, he approaches life with a sense of humor and a commitment to making a positive impact. One of his most significant and rewarding experiences has been designing and building his own home, a project that has deepened his understanding of the real estate process and enhanced his capabilities as a REALTOR®. He is passionate about helping clients achieve their aspirations and is dedicated to turning their dreams into reality.

If you need to reach working real estate agents in Nevada County, California, this list was built for you. Mortgage lenders, title companies, and insurance providers use it to put their services in front of licensed professionals who close deals. PropTech companies, continuing education providers, and recruiters use it to build pipelines, fill courses, and source experienced talent. Whether you're launching a drip campaign or making direct outreach calls, having verified contact data for {{AGENT_COUNT}} actively licensed agents in the county gives you a real head start.

The Nevada County real estate agent email list includes full names, email addresses, brokerage affiliations, license type, and mailing addresses. {{CELL_COUNT}} agents also include verified cell phone numbers, making it easy to layer SMS or direct call campaigns on top of your email strategy. This is not a list of hobbyists — every contact holds an active California real estate license, confirmed against state records.

Why Buy a Nevada County Real Estate Agent Email List From Dr Bill

Dr Bill has been building real estate agent lists since 2005 and has sold over 31,000 lists to businesses across the country. Every list is sourced directly from the California Department of Real Estate licensing database, so you're not getting scraped web data or recycled contacts from a data reseller. The Nevada County list is cleaned monthly to remove bounces and invalid addresses, new emails are added weekly as agents get licensed, and the entire database is fully refreshed bi-annually. That process backs a 96% deliverability guarantee — something cheap list vendors simply cannot offer.

When you buy a Nevada County real estate agent email list from Dr Bill, you're also getting geographic precision that no other vendor provides. Lists are available at the state, county, city, and zip code level, and Dr Bill is the only vendor offering zip code-level segmentation within Nevada County itself. That means you can target agents working in specific corridors or communities rather than paying for a broad pull you'll never fully use.

How to Use This Nevada County Agent List

Email outreach is the most common use case, and this list is formatted for import into cold-email platforms like Zap Contact (zapcontact.com), which makes sequencing and follow-up straightforward. You can also use the mailing addresses for direct mail campaigns or the cell numbers for SMS and phone outreach. For LinkedIn prospecting, the names and brokerages allow fast manual or tool-assisted matching to social profiles.

Segmenting by license type adds another layer of value. Brokers and sales agents have different needs and different authority to make purchasing decisions, and the list separates them so you can tailor messaging accordingly. A CE provider pitching mandatory renewal hours should speak differently to a broker-owner than to a newly licensed agent.

Why Nevada County, California Agent Data Matters

Nevada County covers a distinct market that includes Grass Valley, Nevada City, Truckee, and Penn Valley — communities with their own agent populations and business cultures. Reaching {{AGENT_COUNT}} verified agents in this specific county means your message lands with people who actually work here, not agents in Sacramento or the Bay Area who have no relevance to your offer.

Statewide blasts waste budget and dilute response rates. Local targeting inside Nevada County puts your outreach in front of the agents who list homes, refer lenders, recommend title reps, and influence the service vendors their clients use. That specificity is what turns a list into a legitimate business development tool.
