Ray was born at Eglin Air Force Base in Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and spent his early years in this charming Gulf Coast town until the age of 11. His family then relocated to various states, including Nevada, Utah, and California, before finally settling in Colorado. Ray graduated from Golden High School and pursued higher education at Colorado Christian University. Aside from a five-year period in Alaska, he has resided in the Pikes Peak region, encompassing Colorado Springs and Monument, since 1981.

Ray's journey into real estate began at the suggestion of his wife after they purchased their first home in 1992. Following several years in the customer service sector, he transitioned to a career as a Realtor. He finds immense satisfaction in his work, which allows him to:
