About Renee White

Renee White is a licensed real estate associate broker at Douglas Elliman, bringing a wealth of experience to her role. She embarked on her real estate journey in 1996 with Coldwell Banker, where she quickly established herself in the industry. After five successful years, she transitioned to Dechecci's Realty in Tarrytown, NY, a move that proved to be highly beneficial. Following the acquisition of Dechecci's by Prudential Serls and subsequently by Better Homes & Gardens-Rand Realty (BHG-RR), Ms. White continued to thrive, operating from the Briarcliff Manor office.

After a significant tenure with BHG-RR, she returned to her roots in Tarrytown, collaborating with Hudson Homes Realty LLC. Two years later, she joined Douglas Elliman, where she has been active in the Harlem and Riverdale offices. Ms. White holds dual real estate licenses from the Westchester Board of Realtors and the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY).

In addition to her real estate career, Ms. White is an accomplished journalist and editor specializing in fashion and beauty for the NY Amsterdam News since 1975. A proud native New Yorker, she is also an original member of "The Chantels," the renowned 1950s female singing group celebrated for their Rhythm & Blues hits, including the classic "Maybe." The group continues to perform across the United States.

Ms. White is the author of "Maybe: My Memoir," which chronicles her experiences with The Chantels and is available through Rosedog Books, Barnes & Noble, and Amazon. Her educational background includes studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Pace University, and the NY Real Estate Institute. A dedicated professional, she is a member of the National Board of Realtors, the Westchester Board of Realtors, and REBNY, consistently delivering exceptional service to her clients.

The Bronx County real estate market represents one of New York City's most dynamic and rapidly evolving sectors, driven by significant infrastructure investments and changing demographics. With a robust network of 1,392 actively licensed real estate agents serving the borough, the market has experienced remarkable transformation over the past decade, shifting from traditionally undervalued neighborhoods to emerging hotspots that attract both investors and homebuyers seeking affordability within the five boroughs.

What makes the Bronx particularly compelling is its surprising diversity of housing stock and price points, ranging from luxury waterfront developments along the Harlem River to affordable co-ops in established neighborhoods like Riverdale and Throggs Neck. All 1,392 agents in the county maintain email contact information, reflecting the market's embrace of digital communication and modern transaction management, which has become essential for navigating the borough's complex zoning regulations and rapidly changing inventory levels.

Major Bronx County, New York Real Estate Markets

The South Bronx has emerged as the county's most surprising success story, with neighborhoods like Mott Haven and Port Morris experiencing unprecedented growth due to proximity to Manhattan and major transit improvements. Meanwhile, established markets in Riverdale, Fieldston, and City Island continue to command premium prices, offering suburban-style living with quick access to Midtown Manhattan. The Grand Concourse corridor has become particularly attractive to young professionals, while areas like Fordham and Belmont draw buyers seeking authentic neighborhood character combined with excellent dining and cultural amenities.

Northern Bronx markets including Woodlawn, Wakefield, and Co-op City represent the borough's most stable residential sectors, with strong community ties and consistent property values. The emerging Bronx Point development and the ongoing revitalization of the South Bronx waterfront have created entirely new market segments, attracting luxury buyers who previously might have overlooked the borough entirely.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Bronx County's real estate landscape is characterized by dramatic micro-market variations, where property values can shift significantly within just a few blocks due to transportation access, school districts, and ongoing development projects. The borough's unique position as both an urban center and a collection of distinct neighborhoods creates pricing complexities that require deep local knowledge to navigate effectively.

Transit-oriented development has become a major market driver, with properties near Metro-North stations and express subway lines commanding premium pricing. The market also demonstrates unusual seasonality patterns, with spring inventory often dominated by co-op sales while summer months see increased activity in single-family home markets throughout neighborhoods like Throggs Neck and Country Club.

Why Businesses Need Bronx County, New York Agent Contact Data

Real estate service providers, from mortgage lenders to home inspectors, require direct access to the county's 1,392 licensed agents to effectively penetrate this fragmented but high-volume market. The Bronx's unique combination of first-time homebuyers, investors, and luxury clients creates diverse service opportunities that demand targeted outreach to agents specializing in specific neighborhoods and price points.

Marketing and financial services companies particularly benefit from comprehensive agent contact databases, as Bronx agents often work with clients who require specialized lending products, renovation financing, and investment analysis services. The borough's rapid gentrification also creates opportunities for construction, renovation, and property management companies seeking to connect with agents handling emerging market transactions.
