A native of Troy, Michigan, Rick Raymor began his academic journey at Central Michigan University, where he played football for two years. In 1980, he relocated to Houston, Texas, and completed his education at the University of Houston, earning a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science. During this time, he worked as a Systems Analyst at Exxon Production & Research.

In 1986, Rick obtained his real estate license and became actively involved in investment properties amid the downturn in Houston's market. His passion for the real estate industry led him to leave Exxon and fully commit to his new career, which he has pursued for over 25 years.
