Rita is a seasoned real estate professional with a robust educational background. She earned her undergraduate degree from Michigan State University and completed her Master’s degree at California State University, Long Beach in 1982. Rita obtained her Real Estate License in 1989 and advanced her credentials by securing her Broker’s License in 2006. To further enhance her expertise, she has also achieved several designations, including E-Pro, SFR, CRS, PSA, and C2EX.

As the owner of Coast to Canyon Real Estate, a boutique firm, Rita operates as a selling Broker and oversees a team of thirteen agents in a virtual office setting. Her leadership extends to her active participation in the Orange County Association of Realtors, where she served as a Director from 2009 to 2016 and held the position of President in 2015, representing over 12,000 members. Additionally, she has been a Director for the California Association of Realtors since 2009 and the National Association of Realtors since 2014. In 2017, she graduated from the NAR Leadership Academy, further solidifying her commitment to the industry.

Rita is passionate about mentoring future leaders within the Realtor community. In 2016, she established a Leadership Academy for her association to cultivate emerging talent. Beyond her professional endeavors, she dedicates her time to volunteer work. For the past decade, she has served as a puppy raiser for Guide Dogs of America, recently completing her eighth puppy. Rita also engages in pet therapy with her older dog, cherishing opportunities to contribute to her community through various volunteer activities.
