Nico Makuch, a lifelong resident of the DC Metro area, was born in Montgomery County, Maryland, and currently lives in Columbia with his spouse, an Air Force veteran. Together, they have two children, two grandchildren, and two dogs—Sierra, a Papillon, and Jax, a Yorkie. His extensive experience in the region includes residences in Frederick, MD, Reston and Herndon, VA, as well as Dupont Circle and Cathedral Heights in Washington, DC. After a brief relocation to Prescott, AZ, in 2005, Nico returned to Maryland in 2007 and has embraced his homecoming ever since.

Since 2006, Nico has been dedicated to guiding buyers, sellers, landlords, and tenants through their real estate transactions across Maryland, the DC Metro area, and the Phoenix metro region. As a licensed REALTOR and member of the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS (GCAAR), he operates offices in both Columbia and Frederick, MD.
