Although he initially aimed for a federal career, he found himself working with a private mental health agency in Greenville, where he quickly rose to the role of Care Manager in community support and later became the Program Director for a youth group home.

As community support services began to decline, Judd identified a new opportunity and started a small home repair business, focusing primarily on roofing. His reputation for quality work led him to become a trusted vendor for a prominent property management company in Greenville. To enhance his expertise, he obtained the Haag Certified Roofing Inspector - Residential credential, making him the only certified roofing inspector east of Charlotte for a major national insurance company during their claims process.

Seeking a more stable career, Judd transitioned to the financial services sector, securing a position with a well-known credit union in Greenville. During his time there, he provided a diverse range of services to members.
