About Robert Lindquist

In 1998, this real estate professional transitioned from the Bay Area to Plumas County, marking the beginning of a dedicated career in real estate that commenced in early 1999. Prior to this, he successfully ran a landscape contracting and maintenance business in Contra Costa County, which laid the groundwork for his entrepreneurial spirit.

Seeking a more tranquil and picturesque environment, he and his family left their home in Walnut Creek for the scenic landscapes of Plumas County. His real estate journey began with United Country Golden Feather Realty in Graeagle, California. As the firm evolved and was acquired by Coldwell Banker Kehr/O’Brien Real Estate, he adapted to the expanding market in eastern Plumas County.

During the real estate downturn of 2007, he accepted a position with the Department of Homeland Security, balancing both federal employment and real estate for eight years. In 2015, he returned to his true passion, earning his Broker’s license and taking on the role of exclusive Broker at Grizzly Ranch, a prestigious gated resort and golf community near Portola, California. His efforts were instrumental in revitalizing the community as a desirable option for investors and second-home buyers.

After two years at Grizzly Ranch, he returned to Coldwell Banker Chandler Real Estate, reconnecting with his original broker, Tim O’Brien. Currently, he collaborates with colleagues in the Portola office, rekindling relationships with past clients and associates.

Outside of real estate, he enjoys the natural beauty of the region, frequently engaging in outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, and kayaking. He values family outings to explore scenic trails and partake in local recreational opportunities, including golfing on the high Sierra courses and snowshoeing around Lake Davis to observe wildlife.
