About Robert Wink

Robert Wink transitioned from a distinguished military career in the United States Army to a role in public service and project management. Retiring in 2016, he served as an Infantryman (11B) and completed two tours in Iraq. His diverse experience includes positions as a U.S. Army Recruiter (79R) in Lenexa, Kansas, and as a Noncommissioned Officer in Army Acquisition Logistics & Technology Contracting (51C). Following his medical retirement, Robert joined FEMA as a Contracting Officer from 2016 to 2018, subsequently working with the Army Corps of Engineers until 2019. He returned to FEMA as a Project Manager, where he served until 2020. Outside of his professional endeavors, Robert is a dedicated family man, married for 15 years and a father to three children.
