Since 1999, Robin has specialized in high-end real estate transactions in Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, Solana Beach, and her hometown of La Jolla. Before transitioning to real estate, she excelled in marketing, where her efforts garnered accolades including an American Advertising Award (ADDY) and a Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Award. The latter recognized her significant contributions to Avila Ranch, a 720-home new construction project, where she played a key role in securing approval from the San Luis Obispo Architectural Committee and City Council, addressing the local housing shortage.

Robin is known for her unwavering commitment to her clients, leveraging her negotiation skills and marketing expertise to deliver innovative strategies that enhance their real estate experience.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Robin is actively engaged in her community. She currently serves as the San Luis Obispo County ambassador for UCSD and has previously held leadership roles, including a six-year tenure on the board of Stand Strong (now Illumina Alliance), three of which she served as president. Her involvement also extends to Softec, a software and technology association, and she has been a board member of the National Institute for Investor Relations (NIRI) in San Diego, as well as an advocate for The Children's Resource Network of the Central Coast.

A graduate of the University of California, San Diego, Robin resides in San Luis Obispo with her husband, Derrek Hee, and their four children. Derrek, a local team roper, moved to San Luis Obispo in 1986 to attend Cal Poly and compete on the Cal Poly Rodeo Team, ultimately deciding to stay in the area post-graduation. Robin’s family is well-integrated into the local education system, with one daughter having graduated from San Luis Obispo High School, another from Mission College Prep, and their two youngest currently attending Los Ranchos Elementary.
