About Rodger Barrineau

Libba and Scott are proud natives of South Carolina, having spent their formative years in the Palmetto State. Their early lives were marked by active participation in school and church-related extracurricular activities. Libba is a graduate of James F. Byrnes High School, while Scott completed his education at Lexington High School. Both furthered their academic pursuits at the University of South Carolina, earning Bachelor of Science degrees in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management.

With over 25 years of experience in the tourism sector, Libba has held significant roles in Convention and Visitors Bureaus across various cities, including Atlanta, GA, Cabarrus County, NC, and Statesville, NC. Prior to their return to South Carolina, she served as the Event and Tourism Sales Manager at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte.

Scott brings 28 years of dedicated service with Sodexo, specializing in Marketing, Brand Management, and Operations. His most recent position was as the Marketing Director for Sodexo at the University of South Carolina.

Outside of their professional commitments, Libba and Scott enjoy spending quality time with family, traveling, and volunteering with youth programs. They are actively engaged in the River Bluff Band Booster Club and serve on the Lexington School District 1 Parent Advisory Board. Additionally, they co-chair the River Bluff Gator Band Food Truck Rally. Celebrating 23 years of marriage, they are proud parents to two children, Reilly, age 17, and Brighton, age 20.
