Ron Melvin embarked on his real estate career in 1995 as a Mortgage Loan Officer, providing essential support to Realtors. A resident of the East Bay since 1992, he transitioned to selling homes in 2013, focusing primarily on the markets of Walnut Creek, Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Martinez. His extensive experience allows him to assist clients throughout the East Bay, with a particular emphasis on first-time homebuyers, families looking to upsize or downsize, and properties involved in legal proceedings such as foreclosures, short sales, divorces, probates, and trustee sales.

Having purchased his first home in Concord in 2000 through the VA Loan Program, Ron understands the nuances of the East Bay real estate market that often go unnoticed in standard reports. This background instilled in him a strong sense of duty and commitment, which he applies to helping families navigate the complexities of buying and selling homes in the East Bay.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Ron cherishes time spent with his family. He has actively coached youth baseball, softball, and soccer in the community and is a long-time supporter and volunteer with Special Olympics Northern California. Additionally, he is a member of the Knights of Columbus at Saint Francis of Assisi Church in Concord.

Ron holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Southern Illinois University and a Master’s in Finance from Golden Gate University.
