About Ronald Hensley

Ron, a lifelong resident of North Carolina, has dedicated the past 25 years to his family in the Cashiers area, with 15 of those years spent as a real estate broker. His commitment to the community is evident through his roles on the Highlands-Cashiers Board of Realtors, where he has served as both Treasurer and President, as well as on the Scholarship Committee for many years. Additionally, he represents the Masonic Home for Children in Oxford, NC, as an ambassador for western North Carolina.

Specializing in lakefront properties, mountain views, and resort-style homes around Lake Glenville, Ron has extensive experience in the secondary homebuyer market, having assisted hundreds of clients in the region. Ron earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Warner Southern University and pursued graduate studies at the University of South Florida in Lakeland, where he met his wife, Tonya, who is also a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina. Together, Ron and his family enjoy boating, water sports, and traveling, further enriching their connection to the beautiful landscapes of their home state.
