Sandra's journey began 23 years ago when she found herself in a challenging situation that demanded change. Recognizing the need for a better life for herself and her children, she made the courageous decision to migrate to the United States. Arriving in Naples, Florida—a predominantly white community—Sandra faced numerous obstacles as a Latina woman with three young children, limited financial resources, and no proficiency in English.

Determined to create a brighter future, she embraced her new life with resilience. In her first year, she relied solely on a bicycle to commute to her job as a caretaker for the elderly. To achieve her goals, Sandra stepped outside her comfort zone, initiating her real estate career by canvassing a mobile home community. Over the course of a month, her efforts resulted in the sale of eight homes, earning her first $8,000. This success motivated her to pursue a real estate license, despite the challenges posed by the English-language exam, which she managed to pass.

Sandra's journey was not without its difficulties; she faced discrimination as she sought to establish herself in a field where few Latinos were represented. Nevertheless, these experiences fueled her passion for helping others, regardless of their background. Her commitment to service is evident in her work with shelters for abused women and children, as well as her tenure at the state attorney's office.

Currently, Sandra serves as the president of the Naples National Hispanic Real Estate Professionals, a role she assumed in 2022. She firmly believes in overcoming adversity, including discrimination, and emphasizes that success requires determination and the will to persevere.

Sandra is dedicated to sharing her story to inspire others and demonstrate what is achievable. She leads with passion and is committed to continuous learning from those around her, striving to make a positive impact in her community.
